Lorraine J. Whitehead, 91, of Point Pleasant, WV, went home to be with the Lord Saturday morning, September 16, 2017. She was born February 8, 1926, in Fairmont, WV, a daughter to the late Wayman E. Lewis and the late Elsie Merrill Lewis. She was a homemaker. She was also very active in her church, singing and playing music, and helping where needed. When she wasn't helping her church she loved spending time with her grandchildren and children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayman and Elsie Lewis; and first husband; Eugene Thomas Satterfield and second husband; William Whitehead.

She is survived by her sons, Mark (Maria) Satterfield of Point Pleasant, and David (Judy) Satterfield of Ashland, OH, and sister, Doris Griffith of Weston, WV, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all.

Funeral services will be held at the Holiness Weslyan Church in Point Pleasant, Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at 1 PM, with Pastor Dan Brown officiating. Friends may visit the family at the church from 11:30 AM - 1 PM prior to the service. Burial will be on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at the Maplegrove Cemetery in Fairmont, WV, upon arrival.
