Loretta "Carolyn" Sayre, 95, of Point Pleasant, WV passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Overbrook Rehabilitation Center in Middleport, OH. She was born August 16, 1928, a daughter to the late Geoffrey Moore and Madeline Mayes Moore. Carolyn enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren of six generations. She also loved playing cards with friends.

She is preceded in death by, Parents; Geoffrey (Madeline) Moore, Husband; Francis "Bud" Sayre, Son; Francis "Buster" Sayre, Daughter; Nancy Short, Grandchildren; Kellie Lewis and Jimmy Cheesebrew, Great Grandchildren; Kirstan Jones, Hannah Hall and Carson Sayre, and her Brothers; Lyle Moore, Vaughn Moore, Gene Moore, and Dale Moore. She is also preceded in death is her mom and daddy who raised her from birth as their own, Lonnie "Skeeter" Noble and Dephia (Mayes) Noble.

Carolyn is survived by her loving daughter; Donna (Jack) Cheesebrew of Point Pleasant, Sister; MaryAnn (Richard) Sayre of Huntington, WV, Son-in-law; William "Bill" Short in Point Pleasant, Daughter -in-law; Connie Sayre (Perry) of Point Pleasant, Grandchildren; Lesley Hall (JJ) of Belpre, OH, Alissa (Rich) Reymond of Corpus Christi, TX, Megan (Josh) Sayre of Letart, WV and Haley Sullivan (Eric) of Gallipolis, OH, Great Grandchildren; Heather and Christopher Lewis, Taylor Hall, Morgan, Marli and Tyler Reymond, Chandler, Madalyn, Brooklyn, and Brittlyn Sayre, Makynlee and Brynlee Foster, and several great great grandchildren. and one great great great granddaughter. She will be missed by many extended family and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 30th, 2024, at Kirkland Memorial Gardens with Pastor Russ Moore officiating. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
