Lisa Dawn Goodman born September 3rd, 1965, passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, WV on Tuesday September 23rd, 2025, surrounded by family and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Sidney and Rose (Wamsley) Huddleston. Her parents, James Glen Goodman and Rosetta (Huddleston) Goodman, Siblings, Sandra Cwiertniewicz, James Glen Goodman Jr., Diana Neal, Joanne Fillinger, Connie Parsons, Kathy Kreiser and Shirley Leport.

She is survived by former husband, Doug Thompson (Hollie and Eli) and their children. JD Thompson III, Brooke Thompson, (Allen Fisher and Family) and Lillian Overmyer (Adriana Trejo) Her loving grandchildren Sydney and Douglas Thompson, Amira and Wendi Thompson (Destiny Meaige) Her lifelong best friends Stanley Cook and Jennifer Hodge, as well as several nieces and nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Lisa was a beautiful soul with ah heart of gold. She was known for the way she cared deeply for her family and friends. Her happiest moments were the simple ones, sipping her morning coffee (with plenty of creamer) catching up on the news and spending time with those she loved most. Of all the roles she had in life being "Mamal" was her greatest joy. She cherished her grandchildren beyond words.

Lisa leaves behind her loving family and many dear friends who will miss her laughter, warmth and unconditional love she gave so freely. Her legacy of kindness, strength and love will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

Service in memory of Lisa will be held Saturday, September 27th, at 4:00 PM with Pastor Randy Parsons officiating. Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM.
