Linda Kay Conrad, 77, a beloved mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2025, at River's Health in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. She was born on June 25, 1948, in Ashton, West Virginia, to Kenneth and Marie (Kay) Sturgeon. Linda was a radiant light in the lives of all who knew her, and her spirit will continue to shine through the cherished memories that friends and family hold dear.

Linda's life was defined by her unwavering love for her family. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Wylie Conrad; her parents; her sister, Norma Ann Sturgeon; her son, Kelly Conrad and brothers-in-law Dwight and Byron Conrad.

She is survived by her loving son, Erick Conrad, and his wife Tara; her treasured granddaughter, Wrylie Conrad; her sister, Brenda Stover; her brother, Robert Sturgeon and his wife Darla and her sisters-in-law Sharolyn and Myrna Conrad as well as many nieces and nephews.

As an active member of the Palestine Baptist Church in Ashton, Linda found great comfort and community through her faith. She was known for her singing and enjoyed spending time in worship as well as attending church gatherings.

Linda loved sitting on her porch and soaking in the beauty of nature, spending time with her favorite granddaughter, Wrylie. Auctions were a particular favorite pastime, where she found treasures and stories that she would share with her loved ones.

Linda's legacy also includes her dear friends, Joe (Amy) Arrington, Vicki Edmonds, Melissa Barton, Jodie Price, Gail Edmonds, and Janet Conard, who will miss her warmth and wisdom. They shared countless memories, laughter, and heartfelt conversations that enriched their lives.

A funeral service to celebrate Linda's life will be held on March 21, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Deal Funeral Home, with Rev. Ronnie Long officiating. Burial will follow at Pete Meadows Cemetery in Ashton, WV.  Friends and family are invited to visit the family on Friday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM prior to the service.

In honoring Linda's memory, the family respectfully requests that donations be made in lieu of flowers, allowing her spirit to continue to support those in need.
