Obituary

Leo Riley "Junie" Roush, Jr., 71, of Point Pleasant, WV went to rest with The Lord on November 23, 2022. He passed peacefully at home following a long illness.

He was born May 17, 1951 at home in Letart, WV. In 1988, he married the love of his life, Jeanne. They surrounded themselves with family and friends while building their lives in Point Pleasant. Leo loved to collect coins and drive his beloved Chevelle through country roads but he was the happiest in the company of his grandchildren. He always made himself available to help all who needed assistance whether it be mowing someone's lawn, taking someone to the grocery store, or caring for an ailing friend. His giving nature made him loved by all. His impact on those he loved changed lives.

Leo's sense of humor was one of a kind. His best days were the ones where he could make someone laugh. And he was able to do that almost everytime he talked to you. Humor was the medicine he gave freely to everyone he met.

He's preceded in death by his mother, Laura Luella Roush, Father, Leo Roush, Sr., Stepmother, Carolyn Roush, Great Grandson, Tyler Gravely, Sister, Nedra Cantrell, and Brother in law, Tony Rainey.

Leo is survived by his wife, Jeanne Roush, Five Children, Laura (Friend Jimmy Wallace) Vaughn, Summer (Mike) Gonzales, Malia (Will) Thoms, Keith Gravely and Critter (Lorie) Gravely, Seven Brothers and Sisters; Donnie (Connie) Roush, Mitchell (Terry) Cullen, Joe (Pam) Cullen, David (Araceli) Cullen, Joann Rainey, Marlene (Glen Keese) Roush and Theresa (Roger) Spencer; and many, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and many friends and family.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV. Burial will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant, WV. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
