Lemona Ellen "Sue" Casey of Apple Grove, WV died on January 19, 2023, in Parkersburg WV at Worthington Manor Health Facility after a short illness. She was 95 years old born in Kenova, WV to Thelma Adams Cook and Richard Cook.

She was a graduate of Hannan High School. She also attended Marshall College. She worked as a teacher's aide for Mason County Schools until her retirement.

She married the love her of life, Ernest Willard Casey, and they were married for 57 beautiful years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Willard, and son, Tucker. She is also preceded in death by brothers, Richard Cook, John, James, George, and Dale Watterson.

She is survived by her daughter, Ann Wilson and son-in-law, Richard Hersman, as well as her special son, Ernie Cook; Granddaughters, Kara Tench, Jayna Lowery, and Billie Morgan as well as her five great-grandchildren, Casey Lowery, Keaton Tench, Kylie Tench, Elijah Lowery, and Easton Lowery and her special friends, Jimmy and Bridgette Litchfield and Heidi Cobb Beegle. Sue always leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at 11:00 AM at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV on Monday, January 23 ^rd with funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Beale Chapel Cemtery in Apple Grove, WV. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
