Lawrence Rayburn, 90, of Point Pleasant, WV passed away Thursday, October 3, 2024. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local 132 in Huntington, WV and retired from Gust K. Newburg Construction Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents Dana G and Edith Barnett Rayburn; His wife Donna J. Rayburn; Son Bruce Michael Rayburn. Brothers Lewis Rayburn, Leslie Rayburn, Joseph Rayburn, Paul Rayburn, Dana Rayburn and Thomas Rayburn. Sisters; Virginia Rayburn, Patricia Chasko and Barbara Neal; One Great Grandchild, Kalopi Grace Blazer.

Larence is survived by children; Dennis K. (Elizabeth) Rayburn, Elaine K. (Douglas) Brown, Pamela S. (Nicky) Pickens and Lola J. (Charles M.) Taylor all of Point Pleasant. Grandchildren Monica (Kevin) Blazer, Danielle (Camden) Everidge of Point Pleasant, Nicole Pickens (Jonathan Williams) of Youngstown, OH, Patrick Pickens of Columbus, OH, Charles Justin Taylor of Conway, SC, Loren Rayburn of Tampa, FL, Michael Rayburn of Cedar Lake, In, and Jessica Rayburn (Grace Ryan) of Denver, CO. Great Grandchild; Marella Jean Blazer. He is also survived by Sister; Velma (Glen) Pearson of Lancaster, OH. Lawrence will be missed by many extended family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV with Nicole Pickens and Johnathan Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery in Letart, WV. Visitations will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 5, 2024. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
