Lawrence E. "Larry" Burris, 78, of Apple Grove, WV passed away peacefully January 29, 2024, with his family by his side. He was born December 4, 1945, a son of the late Lawrence "Shorty" Burris and Ina Persinger Burris. He worked at Malleable Iron Company, Premix and American Alloys. He was also a Veteran and served in the United States Army from 1965-1967.

He is preceded in death by, Parents; Lawrence (Ina) Burris, The love of his life Connie Burris, Brothers; Hugh, Tommy, and Jona Earl.

Lawrence is survived by his children; Penny Randolph of Bidwell, Angie (Richard) Griffith of Gallipolis Ferry, Joey Burris of Gallipolis Ferry, Larry "Scott" (Tammy) Burris of Apple Grove, Grandchildren; Justin Burris, Bradley (Tara) Burris, Ashley (Dustin) Baum, Brian (Tiffany) Burris, Kyle Randolph, Dominic Burris, Devrick Burris, Gage Burris, and Garrett Burris. He also leaves behind, Great Grandchildren; Ava Burris, Brysin Burris, Addy Burris, Brynlee Burris, Dylen Cremeans, Waylon Burris, and Dawson Baum. Larry will be missed by many extended family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Millstone Church in Apple Grove, WV with Pastor David Washington. A Military Graveside Service will follow at Apple Grove Memorial Gardens in Apple Grove, WV. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
