Larry Ray "Chip" Hill Jr., 54, of Hartford, WV, passed away June 4, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 21, 1964, in Franklin County, OH, a son to the late Wilmarine Clark Hill, and Larry Hill Sr. of West Columbia, WV. He was a construction worker. He was also an avid fisherman, and enjoyed woodworking. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Wilmarine Clark Hill; grandparents, Alfred and Josephine Clark; and two step-grandchildren.

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife Deborah Hill of Hartford; son, Shane Hill of Mason, WV, and step-son, Nathan (Jenna) Dingey of Clifton, WV; step-daughter, Brittany (Mike) VanMatre of New Haven, WV; father, Larry Hill Sr. of West Columbia, WV; sisters, Lisa (Ken) Davis of Virginia, and Andrea (Rick) Murphy of West Columbia; nine step-grandchildren; father and mother-in-law, Larry (Judy) Hesson of New Haven; two nephews, William and Alex Blanton; brother-in-law, Larry (Lora) Hesson; special friends, Scott Litchfield and Tim Greene; his beloved cat, Moxie; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A "Celebration of Life" will be held Saturday, June 9, 2018, at 4 PM, at Krodel Park in Point Pleasant, WV, with Rick Murphy and Danny Underwood as speakers.
