Larry David Elliott, age 72, passed away on July 8, 2026. He was born on December 17, 1953 to the late Betty Jo Wamsley.

David was an avid biker, and a member of the Barb's Biker Cycling Group in Glen Dale. His passion in life was found in his job as a coal miner. He also served his country in his younger years as a member of the United States Army. 

He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Rodney and Betty Jo Wamsley, as well as his brother, Roy Elliott. 

David is survived by his brother, Jeff Wamsley, his sister-in-law Donna Elliott, and his nieces and nephews, Tonia (Jason) Nott, Chris Elliott, and Betheny (Kirk) Spry.

Per his wishes, his services will be held privately.
