Kenneth Edmonds, 96 of Ashton, West Virginia, went to be with his lord on Sunday December 22, 2024. He was born in Pliny, West Virginia to the late Fenton and Nancy (Shivley) Edmonds. He served our country in the US Army from 1951 to 1953 during the Korean War. He was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge. He worked at Broughton's Dairy in Point Pleasant, WV for twenty-eight and a half years. He was a member of Moore's Chapel Church, Ashton, WV for many years. He was the strongest man we know.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 63 years Mildred (Sharp) Edmonds, granddaughters, Patricia Fuller and Kathryn Cozart and his great grandson, Kyran Cozart.
Kenneth is survived by his sons, Lloyd (Sharon) Edmonds, of Ashton, WV, Kenneth W. Edmonds (Kim) of Brandenburg, Ky, daughters, Brenda Fuller (Scott) of Ashton, WV, Penny Hart (Chuck) of Ripley, WV, grandsons, Stephen (Haley) Elliott of Point Pleasant, WV, Bailey Hart ( Shanlyn) of Point Pleasant, WV, great granddaughters, Haeden Kinder of Gallipolis, Ohio, Tinsley, Rilynn and Avery Elliott of Point Pleasant, WV, special nephew, Donald Wallace, special great nephews, Scott Edmonds and Brent Edmonds. He also leaves behind many good friends and neighbors.
Service will be Thursday December 26, 2024, at Moore's Chapel Church, Ashton, West Virginia at 12:00 pm. Visitation is one-hour prior to the service with Pastor Ted Nance officiating.
