Kase Alexander Phoenix, 5 years old of Gallipolis Ferry WV left this earth for Heaven unexpectedly at his home that he shared with his Mommy, Zach and Jayme on Sunday February 9, 2025.
Kase was born to Renee Meek and James Phoenix on June 11, 2019, in Gallipolis Ohio.
Kase was a very happy boy, playing for hours with his paw patrol and spiderman toys and watching YouTube. Everyone who met Kase loved him. His sweet little smile lit up the room.
Kase was preceded in death by his Grandparents James and Cathy Meek, Great Grandparents Charles and Reckie Henry, Great Aunt Vickie Henry and special Grandfather George Ratliff.
Kase is survived by his Father James Phoenix (Brianna Spencer) of Rio Grande Ohio, His Mother Renee Meek (Zach McCormick) of Gallipolis Ferry WV. 2 Sisters Jayme Campbell and Kennadie Phoenix and a stepsister Maddison Clark. Kase is survived by his Grandparents John and Mary Phoenix, Nina Duncan, Randy Henry and Benny and Teri DeWeese. His best friend Jackson (Jack) Edmonds, Katelyn (Sugar Foot) Blankenship and Noelle Glenn. many Aunts and Uncles and lots of cousins who will miss him forever.
Kase attended Beale Elementary school, New Haven elementary School and Rio Grande Elementary and he loved all his friends and teachers. Kase attended Jordan Baptist Church with Jayme on occasion and he loved riding the church van.
Kase loved white chocolate Reese cups, he ate them every day along with mermaid tails (scrambled eggs) and he was an avid Chocolate milk drinker. He loved riding his scooter and his bike. Kase will be missed terribly by everyone who loved him.
We will say Goodbye to Kase on Friday February 14th at Deal Funeral home with Pastor Bo Burgess officiating. Services will be from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Deal Funeral Home with services starting at 12:00 pm. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
The family would like to say thank you to the Mason County First Responders, police dept, EMS and everyone who showed up that morning and did everything they could for Kase. Burial will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, where Kase will be laid to rest forever beside his Grandparents. Jordan Baptist Church has graciously offered the Fellowship Hall after the service. Please join us for a meal and share memories of Kase.
