Karen E. Gill, 72, of Leon, WV gained her wings Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Pleasant Valley Hospital. She was born October 28, 1949, a daughter to the late Robert Carter and Thelma Lucas. She loved spending time with her grandkids, fishing, gardening, reading, baking, canning, and playing chuzzle on her tablet. Karen worked as a nurse aid at PVH and also work in the kitchen at PVH and PVH Nursing home.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George Gill, Daughter; Kerry E. Syrus, Parents; Robert (Thelma) Carter, Sister; Roberta Myers, Brother; George "Buddy" Carter.

Karen is survived by Daughters; Michelle (Mark) Long of North Pole, Alaska, Christina Rehn of Point Pleasant, WV, Son; Lucas (Amanda) Gill of Leon, WV. Karen also leaves behind three sisters, twelve grandkids and twelve great grandkids. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Services will be at the family's discretion. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
