Judith "Judy" Luz Sargent, 39, passed away with her husband Billy, May 11, 2019, as a result of a tragic car accident. She was born September 11, 1979, in Newark, NJ, a daughter to Jose Castro Jr. and the late Josephine Gilletto Castro. She was a home health aid before becoming disabled. She was a homemaker, was an accomplished cook, enjoyed walking, and traveling with her beloved husband. She and her husband William "Billy" just recently joined the Family Word Church in Point Pleasant, WV.

She is preceded in death by her husband, mother Josephine Castro, and mother-in-law, Nita Sargent.

She is survived by her children, Josephine and Elizabeth Sargent, Desiree Morin, and Eric Castro; siblings, AnnMarie Castro (John Sargent), Jose (Margarita) Castro Sr., Angel Castro, William Castro, Anthony Castro, and Salvatore "Sal" Castro; several nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbors. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 20, 2019, at 1 PM at the Family Word Church in Point Pleasant, WV, with Pastor Jonathan Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow the services at Henderson Cemetery, Henderson, WV. Friends may visit the family at the church from 11-1 PM prior to the services.
