Joyce M McKinney, 75, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2026, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, WV. She was the daughter of the late Homer and Virginia Bland. Joyce was born on December 27, 1950, in Point Pleasant, WV.

Joyce was well known for her love of the outdoors and gardening. She loved to spend time with her family and friends and in her spare time thoroughly enjoyed cleaning house.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Virginia Bland as well as her sons, Ralph J. Bland and Peter L. McKinney Jr.

Joyce is survived by her love, Peter L. McKinney of 54 years, her children: David (Leah) Bland, Angie McKinney of West Columbia, WV, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, Sister Sheila Stone of Mason, WV, granddaughter Charlie Fink, special friends Kaylee Barr and Billy Whalen.

A service will be held Friday, May 29, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Deal Funeral Home with a visitation from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Zerkle Cemetery in West Columbia, WV. Leah Starkey will be officiating.
