Johnny D. Pearson, 75, of Point Pleasant, WV, passed away January 25, 2019, while at Holzer Medical Center. He was born July 23, 1943, in Mason County, WV, a son to the late Wesley and Frances Whitt Pearson.  He was a retired Maintenance worker for the City of Point Pleasant.  He was a Navy Veteran, a member of the American Legion Post 23, and Moose Lodge 731 of Point Pleasant, WV.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Johnny Pearson Jr; five brothers,  Leo,  Charles,  Boyd,  Jack ,and  Junior Pearson; and three sisters, Jenny Williams , Velma Siders, and May Luckeydoo.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie Chapman Pearson; one daughter, Lisa (John) Leport of Point Pleasant; daughter-in-law Gari Pearson of Point Pleasant; six grandchildren, Hannah, Madison, Jesse (Maddy), Katie, Allison, and Wesley; and one great grandchild,  Rowan.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019, at 1:00 P.M. at the Deal  Funeral Home with Pastor Bert Flora officiating .  Burial will follow at the Pearson Family Cemetery in Henderson, WV.  Friends may visit the family 2 hours prior to the service on Monday.  Please visit dealfh.com to send condolences to the family.
