John William "Willie" Price, 86, of Point Pleasant, WV, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018, at Cornerstone Hospital in Huntington, WV.  He was born June 1, 1932, in Mason County, WV, a son to the late John William Price and Cora Persinger Price. He was a truck driver for various companies throughout the area. He served his country honorably in the Army during the Korean War. He attended Good Shepherd Church in Flatrock, WV, when he was able. He loved visiting flea markets and yard sales, and never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Cora Price, his loving wife of 50 years, Sonia Spellman Price; infant sister, Sharon Price; brothers, Charles "Leo", Kenny, and Gene Price; and sisters, Dorothy "Marie" Watson, and Betty simpkins.

He is survived by his loving daughter,  Bambi Price Roush of Point Pleasant; sons, Michael Price and Chris Price, both of Point Pleasant; grandchildren, Dusty Roush, Johna Price-Wolfe, and Danielle Price; two great-grandchildren; and siblings, Doug Price, Marlie Price, Harvey Price, Mary "Sis" Edmonds; several nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

Funeral services will be held at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, Thursday, July 26, 2018, at 1 PM, with Pastor Ray Kane officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkland Memorial Gardens, Point Pleasant. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home Wednesday evening, July 25, from 6-8 PM.
