John Wesley Weethee Jr. of Gallipolis Ferry, West Virginia passed away December 20, 2020 with his wife and grandson by his side. He was born July 29, 1955 in Columbus Ohio to the late John W. Weethee Sr. and Okla "Messick" Weethee. He was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School Class of 1974. John enjoyed hunting, working on cars, mechanic work and spending time with his grandchildren. He retired from Constellium in Ravenswood, WV as a crane operator. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Clinton David Weethee Sr., Steven Lee Weethee, Robert Weethee, a sister Sharon Kay Sheline, Son In Law Robert L. Atkinson and two special friends Howard Knapp and Rick Tolliver.

He is survived by his wife Vikki Weethee of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, daughters Stephanie (Shawn) Peters of Ambrosia, WV, April (Justin) Jordan of Point Pleasant WV, Johnna Weethee and Joseph Snowden Apple Grove, WV, Josie Weethee and Greg Weaver of Atlanta GA, Nikki McGrath and Jason Bush of Gallipolis Ferry, WV. One son Derek (Dominique) McGrath of Charleston WV. Sister Jeannie Bledsoe and adopted brother Ray Dewitt, sister in law, Juanita Weethee of Gallipolis Ferry, and brother in law Mickey Sheline, of Gallipolis Ferry nine grandchildren, three  step grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Two special friends Darryl Pearson and Johnny Vanscoy.

A public graveside service will be held on Wednesday December 23, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. in the Weethee family cemetery.  The body will be taken from the funeral home to the graveyard at 12:30 P.M.  Friends may visit from 11:30 A.M till 12:30 P.M. at Deal Funeral Home.  Services will be officiated by Mark Williams.
