John Thomas "Tommy" Doerfer, 45, of West Columbia, WV, passed away on Saturday June 23, 2018, at home with his loving family at his side.  He was born November 11, 1972, in Mason County, WV, a son to the late Jack Lane, and mother, Edna Little of West Columbia. He was a Mason by trade and worked for many Construction Company's throughout the area.


Along with his father, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, and one sister, Tonya Lane.

He is survived by his parents, Edna & Sid; one son, Phoenix Doerfer; brother, Dwayne (Letha) Ohlinger; sister, Mary (Mike) Vanmeter; half sister, Tammy Schumann (Lous); half brother, Jack Lane (Tina), Zeb Lane (Alicia); step sisters, Rhonda & (Tim) Stout, Cindy & (Steve) Little, Theresa & (Tommy) Wilson, Leah & (Shannon) Bland, Carey Wright, Lora Lester, Sarah & (Dustin) Nunn; and several aunts, uncles,  nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, June27, 2019, at 1:00 P.M., at the Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.  Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Please visit dealfh.com to send condolences to the family.
