John Lee Boyd Jr., age 51 of Point Pleasant, WV, entered into rest on Sunday, August 2nd, 2026. He was born on March 31st, 1975, to the late John Sr. and Karen Boyd in Ripley, WV. John was a lover of many things, chiefly he loved spending time with his family and friends, but he also enjoyed fishing, camping, boating, swimming, staying busy with work, and he loved the ladies.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Sr. and Karen Boyd, his daughter, Montana Boyd-Hundley, his cousin, Chris Ayers, his aunt, Gloria Conley, as well as his grandparents.

He leaves behind many family members to cherish his memory. Sisters, Kathy Jo (Mark) Blackburn and Kayla (Teddy), brother Josh (Alisha) Boyd, granddaughter Gracelynn Faye, Uncle Jerry Rhodes, Uncle Bill and Aunt Charlene Boyd, Aunt Kathy Boyd, girlfriend Marlayna Cook, aunt Nancy Ayers, his beloved cat, Putty, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nephews, and cousins whom he loved very much. Also surviving are the many, many beloved friends. He resided with Teia and Jon Hutton and their four kids.

To honor John's wishes, a visitation will be held at Deal Funeral Home on Friday, August 7th from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. His funeral will follow at 1:00 pm and he will be laid to rest at Independence Cemetery in Jackson, WV.
