Joe Ball, 89, of Ashton, WV, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant, WV. Joe was born March 1, 1932, in Ashton, WV son of the Late Gordon and Myrtie (Fetty) Ball.

He was preceded in death by his wife Rosalie Hughes Ball, parents; Gordon (Myrtie) Ball, Brother; Elza Ball.

Joe is survived by a Son; David (Karla) Ball of Ashton, Daughter; Kathy (Tony) Starkey of Ashton; Brother, Gordon (Cindy) Ball of Ashton; Grandson, Jason Ball and Ethan Starkey; Great Grandsons, Masden Ball, Bryson Ball, Branson Ball and Greyson Ball. He leaves behind several nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers in law and a host of friends.

Joe repaired televisions work on Lowry Farm, Ray O Vac, Gwinn and Martha White Mills Marietta, Ensign Electric Companies. Joe and his wife Rosalie owned and operated Balls Grocery Store. He attended 18 Valley White Oak School and Mt. Olive School, then received his G.E.D.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 17 ^th , 2021, at Balls Chapel Church, 1289 Balls Chapel Road, Ashton, WV 25503. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Balls Chapel Cemetery. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
