Jo Ann Leport, aged 82, passed away at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia July 13th,2024 with her family by her side. She was born on February 28th,1942 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia to John and Tura Brewer.

Jo Ann was a homemaker who also enjoyed cleaning other people's homes. She was employed by the Holiday Inn as a housekeeper. Most of all she enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren. She was a member of Church of Christ in Christian Union.

Jo Ann was proceeded in death by her parents John (Tura) Brewer, sisters Florence Shull, Marion Hooten & Frances Chase, son Billy Joe Hill, and granddaughter Heather Renee Baird.

Jo Ann is survived by daughter Beverly (Bill) Hudson, son Keith Hill, grandchildren Billy Hudson, Brandi (Jon) Miller, Chauntee Hill, Trevor (Kaitlin) Hill, Tannor Hill, Clayton Hill, Caden Hill, and seven great grandchildren who will sorely miss her but know she put up a good fight.

The family would like to say thank you to St. Mary's Medical Center Cath Lab, Recovery Department, and the CVICU. All the medical staff gave the best of care, and the family greatly appreciates them.

The family will be following in Jo Ann's wishes. Her care will be entrusted to Deal Funeral Home and a private family visitation will be on July 17th, 2024, at 11am at Deal Funeral Home.
