Jerry Lee Stevenson, 75, of Gallipolis Ferry, WV passed away August 5, 2024, at Pleasant Valley Healthcare Center in Point Pleasant, WV after a long illness. He was born on January 24, 1949, a son to the late Charles William Stevenson and Lois Marie Beatty Stevenson. Jerry worked over twenty-seven years as a nursing assistant, with Pleasant Valley Hospital being where he retired. He also served in the National Guard for over twenty-two years and was stationed in Iraq for over eight months.

He is preceded in death by, Parents; Charles (Lois) Stevenson, Sister; Charlotte Combs.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Iris Stevenson of Gallipolis Ferry, Daughters; Jamie Stevenson and Kristi Stevenson both of Barboursville, Grandchildren; Mollie and Alexis Stevenson, Brother; Charles Ray "Chuck" Stevenson, and Sister; Yvonne Dillion. He will be missed by many extended family and friends.

At this time there will be no service per his request. Burial will be at the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Dunbar, WV at a later date. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
