Jeanne was born July 1, 1955, in Columbus, Ohio, and passed suddenly on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at Pleasant Valley Hospital in Pt. Pleasant WV. Jeanne was a long time resident of Gallipolis Ferry WV. She married Carl Trippett Jr of Gallipolis Ferry on November 1st 2001. She fought a long battle with cancer over the past few years.

Jeanne was a lifelong animal lover with a gentle soul. She always seemed to have a special bond with animals and especially her dogs Ozzy and Maddie. She loved her family (human and canine) above everything else. She was an avid reader, gardener and was a talented crocheter. She raised her grandson Damion Cornett whom she loved greatly.

Jeanne was preceded in death by husband Carl Trippett Jr, mother Clara M Shotts, and sisters Christine Mulvain and Valerie Shotts.

She is survived by daughters Michelle Layfield (Tom), Cassandra Ebright, Erin (Todd) May; grandchildren, Anthony & Hailey Layfield, Nathan & Damion Cornett, Brandon & Destiny May. Sisters Ilene Casillas and Maureen Shotts; bothers Stephen (India) Shotts and Michael Shotts; brother in law Mark Mulvain, nieces Carrie Casillas (Tony), Natasha Mulvain and great nieces Elizabeth Sipe, Rachel and Katlyn Mulvain. Mother in law Polly Trippett; Sisters in law Pam & Linda Trippett; brothers in law Steve, Phil, Douglas & Joseph Trippett. Along with many other family and friends.
She will be dearly missed by us all.
