Janet Lee Simpkins, 61, of Gallipolis Ferry, WV  entered her heavenly kingdom Monday, January 24, 2022 at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV with her loving daughter by her side. She was born August 11, 1960, a daughter to the late James (Laura) Stark. Janet graduated from Hannan High School Class of 1978. She enjoyed writing poetry and loved her arts and crafts.

She is preceded in death by parents; James (Laura) Stark.

Janet is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Simpkins (Jacob) Dorsey of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, Sisters; Jean McAfee of Findlay, OH, and Bridget (Todd) Peterson of Perrysburg, OH, Brothers; James (Arbutus) Stark of Apple Grove, WV, Jeff (Jenny) Stark of Olive Hill, KY, John (Sandy) Stark of Fostoria, OH and Joseph Stark of Tiffin, OH and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to Deal Funeral Home. Deal Funeral is serving the family.
