James "Jimmy" Rogers, 53, of Point Pleasant, WV. died August 17, 2012, in Pleasant Valley Hospital after a sudden illness. He was born February 13, 1959, in Gallia Co. Ohio. A son to the late William and Mary Wilson Rogers. He had worked at many different jobs, and attended Willing Heart Church, Point Pleasant.

He is surivived by his Special Friend Marlene Hurt and son Richard Hurt of Point Pleasant, WV.
Brothers: Mike and his wife Valarie Rogers and Tommy Rogers of Point Pleasant and one Sister: Renee and her husband Donnie Minor of Beckley WV. Grandchildren: Aaliuah, Braydon and Ciara Hurt. Nieces and Nephews: Michael, Nicholas and T.R. Rogers and Emeraled and Ebony Minor. His Friend Maggie the dog and Rocky his cat and a Host of Friends.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the Deal Funeral Home, with Minister Billy Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Lone Oak Cemetery, Point Pleasant, WV. Friends may call from 6 to 8 P.M. on Monday, August 20, 2012 at the Funeral Home.
