James A. Randolph, 71, of Point Pleasant, WV, passed away April 14, 2019, while at Pleasant Valley Hospital. He was born March 17, 1948, in Mason County, WV, a son to the late George Randolph and Inez Stewart Randolph. He was a retired river boat Captain for Bosworth Towing in Henderson, WV, and Mon River Towing of Pittsburg, PA. He was a member of American Legion Post #23 of Point Pleasant, and he served his country honorably in the US Marine Corp.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Inez Randolph; son, James Ray Randolph; an infant son; sisters, Jackie Randolph, and Georgia and Tinny Edwards.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Karen Randolph; sons, Johnnie Scott Hall, Brayden Randolph, and Kevin (Nicole) Nott, all of Point Pleasant; daughters, Vickie Lynn Bale, Heather Nicole Randolph, both of Point Pleasant, and Michelle Randolph Davies of Barborsville, WV; sisters, Florence "Sissy" Leach, Bobbie Jo Johnson (Melvin), and Angie Wears Mitchell, all of Point Pleasant; 14 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV, Thursday, April 18, 2019, at 1 PM with Pastor. Marshall Bonecutter officiating. Military Honors performed by the American Legion Post #23 and the Marine Corp Honor Guard of Charleston, WV will be observed at the funeral home.Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 11-1 PM prior to the service.
