James "Allen" Plants, 55, of Letart, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 6, 2021. He was born May 3, 1966, in Point Pleasant, WV.  Allen graduated from Wahama High School and was self-employed as an electrician.  Allen enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, and loved shooting pool.

Allen is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Donna Plants, of New Haven, WV; son, Jacob Allen Plants of Letart, WV; daughters, Jaelyn Ashley Plants of Leon, WV and Kelsey (Josh) Lucas of St. Albans, WV; parents, Dennis and Gloria Flowers of Letart, WV, and Tom Wilson of Leon, WV; brother, Rodney (Susan) Plants of Point Pleasant, WV; in-laws, Bobby Joe and Charlotte Roush, New Haven and the late Rex Roush; grandchildren, Sebastian, Grayson, and Jackson.  Allen will be missed by many extended family members, co-workers and friends.

A private graveside service for the family will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at the Wilson Family Cemetery in Leon, WV with Pastor David Kinder officiating.  Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV is serving the family.
