James Ruben Oldaker, 78, of Leon, WV, formerly of Point Pleasant, went home to be with the Lord October 22, 2020. He was born May 5, 1942, in Mason County, WV, a son to the late Homer Oldaker and the late Nellie Whittington Oldaker. He worked for the City of Point Pleasant until his retirement.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Homer J., Lloyd, David, Don, and Fred Oldaker.

He is survived by his sister, Josephine Rhodes of Mason, WV, and Stella (Larry) Craig of Carroll, OH; two grandchildren, Madison and Raymond Bonecutter of Point Pleasant; several extended family members, old friends, and neighbors.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Craig Cemetery (Arbickle Creek) in Leon, WV, with Pastor David Russell officiating. Friends may visit the family Tuesday morning at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, from 10-11:15 prior to leaving for the cemetery. Deal Funeral home is serving the family.
