Howard Edward Shirley, 49, born Saturday April 8th, 1972, to the late David C and Clara Jo (Black) Shirley in Point Pleasant, WV, passed away unexpectedly on the morning of February 22, 2022. Preceded in death not only by his parents but his grandparents, Addie and Marie Black, Clifford and Kathleen Shirley, many aunts, uncles, a few cousins and a nephew.

Howard will be greatly missed by the family he left behind. Sisters; Joy Donn Black, Carolyn Shirley, Brother; John Black, Daughters; Marissa Rocky, Erica Jones and Son; Justin Rocky, Stepchildren; Brooke, Kelsey, Kevin Bonecutter and Brittany Knapp, Three Aunts; Wanda Wray, Joy Black, Brenda Black, Two Uncles; Steve Black and Dallas Stewart. Howard had 14 grandchildren, two of them he cherished dearly, Stanley Brooks Jr and Alexis Clara Jo Shirley. Many cousins a few nieces and nephew whom he was always there for especially his great nephews: Christian and Bryant Stone.

Please come celebrate the memories of his life at Deal Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, from 5:00PM to 8:00 PM. Family may arrive at 4:00 PM. In Lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations be payable to Deal Funeral Home for the services. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family. Social distancing and face mask are recommended.
