Hope Ann McCormick, 56, a beloved mother, went home to be with the lord on Saturday April 12, 2025. Hope passes away peacefully surrounded by family at a hospice facility located in Columbus, Ohio. Hope was born on March 26, 1969, to James and Rosemary McCormick and was the youngest of six children.

Hope was preceded in death by her beloved parents, James and Rosemary McCormick and oldest Brother James "Moe" McCormick.

She is survived by her two loving sons, Joshua Mackenzie McCormick and Timothy Jacob Burnett. Two loving daughters Kianna and Kalin Newman of Columbus, Ohio. Hope is also survived by four older brothers, Tracey (Yvonne) McCormick, Timothy (Gwendolyn) McCormick, Douglas (Christy) McCormick, and David (Kimberly) McCormick of Leon, WV. Hope leaves behind two granddaughters, Alexus Marcum and Zoey Morris, as well as a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind two lifelong friends, Kelly Lewis and LuAnn Halstead and a special friend, Pete Newman.

A graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 17th at Mount Zion Cemetery with Pastor Roger Halstead officiating. Service starts at 1:00 PM. Family and friends are encouraged to show up one hour prior for a time to gather in memory.

In leiu of flowers donations can be made to the Funeral Home for burial expenses .
