Herman E. Gleason, 67, of Point Pleasant, WV, passed away peacefully at home after battling a long terminal illness. He was born to Franklin E. and Marclyn R. Gleason on March 22, 1950, in Point Pleasant, WV. He loved woodcraft and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Larry F. Gleason and Ricky L. Gleason, all of Point Pleasant.

Surving in addition to his mother are two brothers, John A. (Teresa) Gleason and Michael E. Gleason, and a sister, Pamela K. Holcomb, all of Point Pleasant, and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his two children, son, Ronald F. (Megan) Gleason of Middleport, OH, and daughter, Randi M. (Stanley) Gleason of Point Pleasant,and five grandchildren, Jaycen B. Gleason, Neveah G. Gleason, Frankie E. Gleason, Katelynn M. Machir, and Avery M. Head.

He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held at the Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, Friday, April 21, 2017, at 1 PM, with Jack McCoy and Marshall Bonecutter officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Hill Cemetery in Southside, WV. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Friday, from 11-1 PM prior to the service.
