Helen E. Smithson, 101, of Letart, WV went home to be with the Lord Thursday, October 10, 2024, at CAMC Memorial Hospital. She was born February 27, 1923, a daughter to the late Andrew Curtis and Anna (Hnat) Curtis. Helen was a member to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed working her puzzle books.

She is preceded in death by, Parents; Andrew (Anna) Curtis, Husband; Leonard Smithson, Children; Allen Smithson, Francis Joy Smithson, and Esther Brannon.

Helen is survived by, Grandchildren; Scott (Kyanne) Brannon, Bethany Brannon, Eric Brannon, Stephanie Smithson, Jill (Paul) Barnette and John Smithson, and Daughter in law; Sue Smithson of Letart, WV, Step Granddaughter; Melba (Tim) Leport, Step-Great Grandchildren; Isaac and Joshua Leport. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Helen will dearly be missed by The Mayes Family.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, November 15th, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Point Pleasant, WV. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
