Heather Marie Thompson, 42, of Gallipolis Ferry, WV passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 4 ^th , 2022, at home. She was born August 27, 1979, a daughter to Harold Taylor and Dorothy DeVault. Heather graduated from Point Pleasant High School, Class of 1997. She was a big WVU fan, loved all sports and racing.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Joshua Taylor, Paternal Grandpa, Sherman Jordan, Maternal Grandparents; Blaine (Phyllis) DeVault.

Heather is survived by her fiancé; Junior Siders of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, Daughter; Taylor Warden (Tristan Shriver) of Morgantown, WV, Son; Easton Taylor of Leon, WV, Parents; Harold (Dorothy) Taylor of Leon, WV, Brother; Harold Taylor of Leon, WV, Sister; Rebecca Smith of Ashton, WV, Grandma Juanita Jordan of Leon, WV, and several nieces and nephews. Heather will be miss by many extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 7th, 2022, at Mt. Zion Cemetery on Thomas Ridge Road, Leon, WV. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, July 6th, 2022, at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
