Harry E. Matheny, 73, of Leon, WV passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at Abbyshire Place in Gallipolis, Ohio. He was born June 23, 1950, a son to the late Daniel (Myrtle McDade) Matheny. Harry served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed bowling, hunting and loved to cook.

He is preceded in death by, Parents; Daniel (Myrtle) Matheny, Brothers; Farry and Virgil Matheny, Sisters; Opal Matheny, Vesta Stone and Leota Anderson.

Harry is survived by several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind one sister, Sylvia Malcolm from Tennessee.
