Harold "Butch" Porter 66 of Point Pleasant, WV passed away on February 5th, 2026, at his home. Butch was the son of the late Harold Porter Sr. and Viettia McCoy.

Butch is survived by his daughter, Brianna (Brandon) White, son, Harold "Trey" (Nina) Porter, five grandchildren with a sixth grandchild on the way. Stepmother and best friend Georgie Porter, niece and special caregiver Tiffany Porter, siblings, Terry (Julie) Porter of Addison, Steve (Bridget) Porter of Point Pleasant, Val Porter of Gallipolis, Ohio and Mike (Michelle) Porter of Point Pleasant, WV, stepsister, Debbie (Randy) McKinney, stepbrother, Jerry (Teresa) Darst along with several nieces and nephews.

Butch is preceded in death by his parents, Harold Porter Sr. and Vietta (McCoy) Porter, sister, Debbie Henry, stepbrothers, David Darst and Danny Darst.

Butch worked many years as a foreman installing fiber optic cable all across the United States before becoming a union painter working the Bartow Jones Bridge and the Robert C. Byrd locks and Dam. Butch was an avid sports fan and loved to watch Ohio State football Kentucky Wildcats basketball and Miami Dolphins football. Butch will be rejoining his friends that have passed before him. Butch, Red, Panama and shag back together again.

At the request of Butch there will be no service.
