Gregory Alan Stover II, 38, of Point Pleasant, WV passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, as a result of an automobile accident. He was born on August 28, 1983, a son to Shirley Goodman Leport. Greg graduated from Point Pleasant High School, Class of 2003. He enjoyed working on cars, electronics, and loved fishing and target shooting. He was formerly employed by Medical Supply Warehouse of Ripley and Krogers of Ripley. Anyone who knew Greg knows, he had a heart of gold.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; James G. (Rosetta) Goodman, Paternal Grandfather; Boyd Stover, Aunt; Sandra Cwiertniewicz, Uncle; James G. Goodman Jr, Aunts; Diana Neal, Joanne Fillinger, Connie Parsons, and Kathy Krieser.

Greg is survived by his loving mother, Shirley Goodman Leport, Former Stepfather; Randy "Cartwright" Leport of Henderson, WV, whom was a good friend for many years, Son; Izaiah Hunter of Gallipolis, OH, Aunt; Lisa Goodman Thompson of Henderson, WV, Girlfriend; Susan Osborn of Point Pleasant, WV. Greg also leaves behind his BEST Friends; Justin (Amber) Wray along with their 3 children, Travis Henderson, Dustin Baker, Josh Bauer, Mo Austin, D'Arius Franklin and Good Friends, Ernie (Peggy) Jones, Tiffany Jones and Trish McDermitt. He also will be missed by his fur baby, Ruger, whom he rescued. Greg leaves behind several cousins who will miss him dearly.
