Geraldine "Jerry" E. Bosworth, age 90, of Point Pleasant, WV, passed away on September 8, 2017, at her home. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Luther and Virgie Herdman, sister, Kathleen Bowles of Point Pleasant, husband of 64 years, Captain Robert H. Bosworth, and her son, Robert H. Bosworth II. She was born in Buffalo, WV, and moved to Point Pleasant in 1945 when she and Captain Bosworth married. There they worked together to build their River Towing business which spanned from 1953 until they retired in the mid 1990's.

Geraldine was a past member of the Point Pleasant Women's Club, Women of the Moose, and the Ladies Guild at Christ Episcopal Church where she attended in past years. She was known for her love of giving and helping others but often preferred to remain anonymous in helping many businesses, charities, and individuals in Point Pleasant and Henderson, WV.

Surviving are her daughter E'Deana (Bosworth) Elmer and son-in-law Roy W. Elmer of Point Pleasant, son, Edward S. Bosworth of Gallipolis, OH; grandchildren, Jon'Drea Justice (Travis) of Scott Depot, WV, Seventy Sharron (Mick) of Groveport, OH, Omega Blanton (Justin) of Orient, OH, Madison Sayer (Brandon) of Grove City, OH, Meredith Brush of Grove City, OH, and Teresa Jones (Chuck) of Paris, Tennessee; great-grandchildren, Brittani Lewis (Robi) of Point Pleasant, Selby Blanton and Jaxon Blanton of Orient, OH, Jacob Sharron of Groveport, OH, Wyatt Justice and John Robert Justice of Scott Depot, WV; and great-great grandchild, Bri Lewis of Point Pleasant.

Services will be held at the Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, Sunday, September 10, 2017, at 1 PM, with Jack McCoy and Marshall Bonecutter officiating. Entombment will follow in the Sunrise Cemetery, also in Point Pleasant. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home from 11 AM to 1 PM prior to the service.
