George Alexander Wilson, 73, of Leon, WV, passed away August 4, 2020. He was born January 5, 1947, the son of Inez (Daugherty) Wilson and Pat M. Wilson.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Roy and Naomi Daugherty; paternal grandparents, Pat and Gretchen Wilson; and brothers James Wilson and Pat Wilson III.

He is survived by brothers, Tom and Joe Wilson; and sister, Judith Corriveau.

George was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School and attended Marshall University. He joined the U.S. Army and served three tours of duty in Vietnam.

Graveside services with military honors conducted by the Army Honor Guard of Charleston, WV, will be held at the Wilson Family Cemetery, (Rt. 62) Leon, WV, Monday, August 10, 2020, at 11 AM, with Pastor David Kinder officiating.
