George William Clark, 83, of Point Pleasant, WV, passed away March 9, 2020, surrounded by his family. He was born June 8, 1936, in Gallia county, OH, a son to the late Jack Clark and the late Gladys Olman Clark. He worked for GDC in Gallipolis until his retirement. He served his country honorably in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a lifelong member of the VFW, a member of the Moose, and was an avid outdoorsman. He especially enjoyed time he spent with his children and grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Gladys Clark; daughter, Tamera Clark; and stepson, Weldon Harmon.

He is survived by his loving wife, Arthelia (Miller) Clark of Point Pleasant; son, George W. Clark Jr; daughters, Angel Dawn Clark of Point Pleasant, Teresa Jeffers of Columbus, OH, and Kimberly Clark Johnson of Point Pleasant; seven grandchildren; sister, Francis Houck of Gallipolis; and a host of extended family members, friends, and neighbors. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

At George's request there will be no visitation. Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
