Genewth Jane Holley, 92, of Point Pleasant, WV, went home to be with the Lord, with her family at her side, August 11, 2020. She was born May 28, 1928, in Mason County. She was the daughter of the late Arnold Henry and Ruth Johnson Henry. She was a river boat cook for over 25 years at AEP River Transportation. She was also a member of the Point Pleasant Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Ruth Henry, husband of over 33 years, Arvel Holley, beloved son, Charles Henry Cobb, daughter in-law, Sandra Cobb, son in-law, Stephen K. Burris, sister, Ramona Stickler, and  niece, Lenora Stickler.

She is survived by her daughter, Christa Jane Burris of Point Pleasant; granddaughters, Heidi Beegle of Point Pleasant; Michelle Burris of Hurricane, WV; Melissa Burris of Brooklyn, NY; and Maria (Roger) Manning of Leon, WV; her furry friend, "Joe the Cat"; all her neighbors on Parrish Avenue;  caretaker, Patty Proffitt; and friend Patty Whitlock. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Graveside Funeral services will be held at Kirkland Memorial Gardens, Point Pleasant, Friday, August 14, 2020, at 2:30 PM, with Pastor Doug Hendrixson officiating. Due to the safety mandates, social distancing and facemasks will be required. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Nazarene Church in Point Pleasant.
