Geneva J. Young, 63, of Southside, WV, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018, at Charleston General Hospital, Charleston, WV.   She was born August 12, 1954, in Putnam County, WV, a daughter to the late Carl and Bessie Simpson. She was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Carl Andrew Simpson Jr., and sister, Rebecca Kelley.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Young of Southside, WV; sons, Allen Young and Matthew Young, both of Southside;  brothers and sister,  Mary Swope of Darbyville, OH, Butch Simpson of Nitro, WV,  Jimmy Simpson of Poca, WV, Jane Rubinoff of St Albans, WV, Leonard Simpson, and Jo Ann Clark.
