Frank J. Smith, 92, of Apple Grove, WV, after a short illness, went home to his Heavenly Father on February 5, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 19, 1929, in Marsh Fork, WV a son to the late William Smith and Cory Price Smith. He was a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry. He retired from the CJ Hughes Construction Company in 1993.He loved to travel and being in the mountains. He also loved to visit with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Cory Smith; two brothers, two sisters, and sons, Larry and James (Robbie) Smith.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Betty Smith of Apple Grove; daughter, Bonita; eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, and another on the way.

The family would like to thank everyone at St. Mary's Hospital and Hospice for all the services provided for his care.

At Frank's request, there will be no visitation. Services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV, is serving the family.
