Forrest F. Legg, 82, of Flatrock, WV, went home to be with the Lord with his family at his side at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. He was born January 27, 1935, in Milton, WV, a son to the late Tom Legg and Mary Wallace Legg. He worked at Kaiser Aluminum in Ravenswood, WV, for over 35 years. He was also an avid farmer. He was a member of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, Flatrock, and a member of Minturn Lodge #19 AF & AM in Point Pleasant, WV.
He is preceded in death with his parents by his loving wife, Georgia Meadows Legg; sisters, Maxine Horn, Carrol Elkins, and Vivian McCoy.
Forrest is survived by his loving children, Marvin (Lisa) Legg of Culloden, WV, and Marian Legg of Chesapeake, OH; granddaughter Tiffani Webb; sisters, Alice "Jerry" Pannell, Rose Haga, Freeda G. Williams; brother, Tom Legg; as well as a host of extended family, friends, and neighbors. He will be sadly missed by all.
Funeral services will be held at the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, Flatrock, WV, Friday, January 19, 2018, at 1 PM, with Rev. Matthew Dotson officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Hills Cemetery, Flatrock, with graveside Masonic Rites conducted by Minturn Lodge #19 AF & AM of Point Pleasant, WV. Friends may visit the family at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, Thursday January 18, from 6-8 PM, and from 12-1 PM at the church prior to the service on Friday.
