Floyd Olliver "Ollie" Stuart 88, of Southside, WV, went home to be with the Lord while at Arbors of Gallipolis, Saturday, September 15, 2018. He was born April 30, 1930, in Charleston, WV, a son to the late Ray Helton Stuart, and the late Dorothy Lee (Bostic) Stuart. Ollie was a railroader and retired from City Car with over 20 years of service. He also belonged to Teamsters Local 299 of Detroit, Mich. He also attended the Oasis Pentacostal Church in Gallipolis, OH. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed cutting firewood. Ollie always made it a point to make everyone laugh, and he had no problem doing that.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ray & Dorothy Stuart; daughter, Rita (Stuart) Gossler, brothers, Robert Gene Stuart, Shirley Stuart, and Haven Stuart; sisters, Dorothy Rainelle (Stuart) Thompson, Alwilda "Winnie" (Stuart) Smithson, Agnes Mae Stuart, and Yvonne Lee (Stuart) Brown.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 56 years, Iva Stuart of Southside, WV; son and his children, Floyd (JoBeth) Stuart, and children, Katelyn, Courtney, and Hunter Stuart; and daughter and her children, Diane Fredericks, and children, Nicole Dekker, and Elysia Fredericks, John Hoschar, Brandon Gossler   Two Great Grandchildren  brother, Ray Ervin (Pat) Stuart of Charleston; ; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends and neighbors. He will be sadly missed by all.

Funeral services will be held at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV, Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at 1 PM, with Pastor J R Vance officiating. Burial will follow in Harmony Cemetery in Southside. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11-1 PM, prior to the service.
