Ervan Henry Nance, 92, of Gallipolis Ferry, WV passed away Friday, February 4th, 2022, at Pleasant Valley Hospital. He was born November 2, 1929, a son to the late Stanley Nance and Rosie Shull. Ervan enjoyed hunting, fishing, loved watching Nascar racing. He also loved gardening. He served in the US Army for two years.

He is preceded in death by wife; Elaine Nance, Son; Criss Nance, Daughter and Son in law; Melaine (Tim) Patton, Parents; Stanley (Rosie) Nance, Brothers; Billy and Jimmy Nance, Sisters; Jewell Gross and Shirley Chapman, Very Special Friend; Tim Roberts.

Ervan is survived by his daughter; Balinda (Joseph) Hurlow of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, Grandson; Alan Patton of Gallipolis Ferry, WV and Cousin; Charles Shull of Columbus, OH. He will be missed by many extended family and friends.

A service honoring the life of Ervan Nance will be held 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 10th, 2022, at Deal Funeral Home with Pastor Ted Nance officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior. Burial will follow at Moore's Chapel Church Cemetery in Ashton, WV. Face mask and social distancing is recommended for everyone's safety. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family
