Elsie Ann McCartney, 82, of Gallipolis Ferry, WV went to be with our Lord and Savior, Friday, December 23, 2022. She was born in Couch, WV on April 30, 1940, to the late George William Hutton and Virginia (Stearns) Hutton. She was a devoted wife and homemaker.

She is preceded in death by, Sister; Sandra "Sandy" Sue Roush.

Elsie is survived by her loving husband of 65 years married on February 17, 1957, Charles Fredrick McCartney, Children; Dreama (Bill) Adkins of Point Pleasant, WV, Cindy Goodwin of Point Pleasant, WV, and Belinda (Kenneth) Stover of Point Pleasant, WV, Six grandchildren; Amber (TR) Camp, Christopher (Jessi) Roush, Amy Stamper, Donny Stamper, Matthew (Cary) Graham, Christina (Caleb) Reinmuth, 10 Great Grandchildren, Morgan, Kayon, Evan, Kaiden, Kaysen, Mason, Kendalynn, Blaize, Maxon and Holden, Three Special Nieces Marlena Jordan, Ginger Campbell, and Valerie (Mike) Rogers. She will be missed by many extended family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 27th, 2022, at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery in Flatrock, WV. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
