Ellwood Eugene Stover, "Hawk", 60, of Akron, OH, passed away unexpectedly July 17, 2018. He was born May 10, 1958, in Summit County, OH, a son to the late Judith Stover, and Owens Ray Stover of Point Pleasant, WV. He was an electrical engineer and worked for Wonder Bread in Akron. He loved working on cars, building hot rods. He helped everyone in need, and loved making people laugh. He especially loved the time he spent with his children and grandchildren. He was a member of Army & Navy Union in Akron, Garrison #1978.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Judith Stover; grandma and grandpa Beardsley, and Grandma and grandpa Stover; and aunts, Bert and Jeanie Beardsley.

He is survived by his five loving children, Owens Stover, Nicholas Stover, Anthony Stover, Gatha Stover, Sally Stover, all of Akron, OH; seven grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter on the way, Oaklee Raelynn Stover; brothers, Carleton Stover of Point Pleasant, Ray Stover of Point Pleasant, Joseph Stover of Rittman, OH, Perry Stover of Cinncinnatti, OH, Harry Stover of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; and sister, Wilma Rollins of Point Pleasant; father, Owens Ray Stover (Sue) of Point Pleasant; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends and neighbors. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A graveside service will be held at Creston Cemetery, Leon, WV, Friday, July 27, 2018, at 11 AM, with Pastor Joe Nott officiating. Friends may visit the family at the graveside before the service.
