Elfriede Lucas, 89, of Point Pleasant, WV passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024, at home. She was born February 2, 1935, a daughter to the late Johann Metz and Gertrude Stumps Metz. Elfriede enjoyed traveling in her early years. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by, Mother; Gertrude Metz, Husband; James Lucas, Daughter; Valerie Clay and Sister; Helma Dietz.

Elfriede is survived by, Son; Mike (Sandy) Lucas of Point Pleasant, WV, Grandchildren; Nicholas "Hoobie" Lucas of Point Pleasant, Brandon "Opie" (Ashley) Lucas of Point Pleasant and Brooke (Craig) Wilson of Belleville, WV, Great Grandchildren; Colton Clay, Deacon and Olivia Lucas. She will be missed by many extended family and friends.
