Edward Lee Meadows, 65, of Ashton, WV passed away May 6, 2020. He was born September 5, 1954, a son to the late Ernest and Mary Meadows. He was a custodian for the Board of Education and enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, tinkering with vehicles, and collecting. He was giving, generous, and never knew a stranger.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Francis Sadler; son, Richard Meadows; and brother in law, Garland Hughes.

He is survived by his four children; Keith Meadows of Hurricane, Sandra (Wesley) Towe of Huntington, Mary (Darvin) Cardwell of Huntington, and Kellie Meadows of Ashton; brothers, Denzel (Judy) Meadows of Hurricane and Earl (Carol) Meadows of Winfield; sisters, Faye Vansickle of Point Pleasant and Patricia Hughes of Ashton; grandson, Dakota Towe of Huntington; and several nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors who will miss him dearly.

Graveside services will be held at 1 PM on Friday, May 8, 2020 at Pine Grove Cemetery in Milton, WV, with Tony Bailey officiating. Social distancing and face masks are recommended. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to cover the funeral expenses. Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant is serving the family.
